GREENSBORO, N.C. - Maryland scored 20 runs on 18 hits to defeat the Aggies, 20-4. The Terps sent 10 batters to the plate in the second inning and scored six runs. The Terps scored in all but the first and fourth innings.

Offensively for Maryland, Jason Schlegel and J.R. Thomas each knocked in three runs as Thomas, Scott Bronowicz, Casey Trout and Larry Long all hit home runs.

Joe Hart earned his first win of the season as the left hander tossed five innings with three strikeouts and no walks.
