Barry Kagan began working as a strength and conditioning coach at University of Maryland in 1994 while completing his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. After completing his degree in 1995, Kagan transitioned to a full time capacity. During his tenure he has been assigned almost every sport at Maryland in either a direct supervisory role or in an assistant capacity. Kagan is certified by the NSCA with his CSCS credential since 1996 and received his Master Certification from the CSCCa in 2008. Kagan is currently employed part time for the university. He is responsible for performance training of men's soccer, women's Soccer, and field hockey. He became a licensed massage therapist in 2006, and is on course to complete a BSN degree in December 2011. |
