Terp Fans:

On behalf of the University of Maryland and Maryland Athletics, I offer my sincerest gratitude for the tremendous support thousands of Terps fans have shown for our football program by purchasing tickets for the Military Bowl. Thanks to you, Maryland Athletics was able to sell out its allotment of 10,000 tickets more than a week before the game.

Obviously, this support not only recognizes the deserving efforts of this year's team, but will greatly assist in our recruiting and bowl selection for future years. Additionally, your generosity has allowed nearly 2000 tickets to the game to be donated by Maryland Athletics to military personnel, veterans, and underprivileged children in the area, while a portion of overall proceeds from the game will also benefit the local USO.

Thank you, Terp Nation. You have certainly shown your support of, passion for, and loyalty to all of our student-athletes, staff, and coaches in the best ways possible this bowl season. I look forward to seeing you in a sea of red at RFK Stadium. Go Terps!
