COLLEGE PARK, Md. - University of Maryland's competitive cheer team will be among the teams featured on CBS-TV Saturday, April 23 when the National Cheer Association national championships are televised on a tape delayed basis at 2 p.m. ET.The Non-Division 1A competition will be airing Tuesday, May 10 at 3 p.m. on FOX Sports Net.

The Terps completed their second season as a varsity sport last weekend by finishing runner-up to five-time national champion Louisville in the Division I all-girl division.

The event was held in Daytona Beach, Fla.
