COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The 2008 national champion Terrapin competitive cheer squad will be recognized at halftime of Saturday's men's basketball game against North Carolina.

They will also receive their national championship rings from their 2008 win prior to the game. Friends and family will be present.

The Terrapins are coming off of a win at Cheersport nationals in Atlanta last weekend, in which they beat all of the top five teams at last year's nationals.

They are working towards winning their fourth consecutive national title in April.
