INDIANAPOLIS - University of Maryland rising sophomore Myah Hicks ran a personal-best 2:06.61 to finish third in the women's 800 Saturday at the USA Junior Outdoor Nationals.

She finished behind only Ajee Wilson of the Juventus Track Club (2:04.86) and Danielle Aragon (2:05.06), who was competing unattached.

Hicks ran second in her qualifying heat on Friday and was seeded fourth into the final, also breaking her previous season-best with a run of 2:08.49.

Hicks was ninth for the Terrapins at the ACC Outdoor Championships in April.
