Profit will represent the ACC as the sixth seed in the pentathlon

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Kiani Profit will represent the Atlantic Coast Conference in the 2010 NCAA Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship this Friday-Saturday, March 12-13.

The championship will take place at the Randal Tyson Track Center at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark.

The star junior earned an automatic-qualifying mark in the pentathlon on February 25th in Blacksburg, Va. Profit finished with 4,125 points in the five-event competition, surpassing the auto standard of 4,075. Profit will be the sixth seed this weekend.

Sophomore Dwight Barbiasz qualified for nationals at the Maryland Invitational, but is unable to attend due to an ankle injury.
