BEFORE MARYLAND: Ran for Saratoga Springs high school and Kinetic running club...high school team finished 2nd in the country in 2010 and 2009...attended nike team/cross nationals all four years of high school...Won the Ann King memorial award for an outstanding athlete senior year...national honor society member...personal records include 4:43 in the 1500m, 11:01 in the 2 miles, 5:07 in the 1 mile, 2:19 in the 800m, 10.04 in the 3000m, 17:33 in the 5K, and 14:53 in the 4K
