Tied for second at the Terrapin Indoor Invitational at 5-4.25... Also T2nd finish at the Patriot Games. BEFORE MARYLAND - Massachusetts D1 state champion indoors in 2009 for Lexington HS... Finished in top five in states five times, including once in triple jump... Personal best in high jump is 5-6... Five-time All-Middlesex League in high jump and triple jump... Voted by school coaches as Most Versatile... Also won Coaches' Award and was most outstanding in her class three seasons... National Merit Semifinalist and member of National Honor Society. PERSONAL - Born in Paris, France... Has three siblings - Maxime, Antoine and Felix... Parents are Fabrice and Marie-Jo Cancre... Volunteered with Amigos de las Americas in Honduras for six weeks...Came to Maryland for its diversity, balance between academics and athletics and location... Chose Maryland over Connecticut and Villanova. |
