2011 OUTDOOR TRACK - Best mark of the season was 7-0.50 to finish T4th at the Florida Relays... Just missed a national-qualifying berth with a 7-0.25 mark at the NCAA East Prelims, finishing 13th... Won the Eastern Section of the Penn Relays (6-11.50)... Was 4th at the ACC Outdoor on a rain-plagued event, going 6-9.50... Terps only performer in the javelin, went 195-3 to finish 2nd at the UCF Invitational... Placed 9th at the ACC Outdoor with toss of 183-9.

2011 INDOOR TRACK - ALL-ACC with 2nd-place finish at the ACC Indoor meet, clearing 7-0.50... Finished behind only teammate Dwight Barbiasz (7-2.25)... Two other 7-foot performances indoors... Won Nittany Lion Challenge with 7-0.25 leap and was 2nd at Wesley Brown Invitational (again behind only Barbiasz) at 7-0.25.

BEFORE MARYLAND - Transferred to Maryland from the University of Texas... Season-best indoors for Longhorns came with 7th-place finish at Big 12 Championships... Went 6-11.75 outdoors to finish third at Texas-Arkansas Dual... Tied for first at Hurricane Invitational at 6-10.75... Also had javelin mark of 163-10 at Texas-Arkansas Dual.

Three-time Maryland Class 2A state champion at Walkersville HS... Won state and region high jump titles as a senior... Maryland Gatorade Boys Track & Field Athlete of the Year as a junior in 2008... Outdoor state winner in high jump (7-0.25) and triple jump (45-10) and was second in long jump (22-7)... State all-class record of 7-0.25 outdoors... Indoor state champ as a junior... Four-year letter winner and two-time team MVP for Lions... Cleared 7-0 five times prior to his 17th birthday.
