This is Maryland Track & Field
The trophy cases in College Park are filled with the amazing legacy of Maryland Track & Field. The history includes Hall of Famers like Renaldo “Skeets” Nehemiah and Coach Jim Kehoe. It includes a line of 24 consecutive outdoor team championships at the Atlantic Coast Conference meet, one of the longest stretches of domination in any sport in league history.

And recently, it includes a head coach with a pair of Olympic gold medals and All-Americans like Dominic Berger, Dwight Barbiasz and Kiani Profit.

“Our goal for the men’s and women’s track and field program is to build on the rich history of the sport at Maryland,”  says head coach Andrew Valmon. “We have been working hard to recruit and develop student-athletes who will add to this tradition and make new history. Our motto is that we would like to honor the past, live in the present and create the future.”
