WOMEN'S SOCCER - HAYLEY BROCK (Soph., Forward, Acton, Mass.)
Scored two goals and added an assist to lead Maryland to a 5-1 victory over La Salle in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Became the first Terp since 1999 to score twice in an NCAA tournament game.
MEN'S SWIMMING - JOHN HAUSER (Soph., Freestyle, Pottstown, Pa.)
Hauser swept his freestyle events Saturday to help Maryland pick up its first win of the year against defending America East champion UMBC. The sophomore touched the wall first in the 50 free (20.65), 100 free (45.90), and 200 free (1:39.88) and also joined forces with Bradley Dillon, Anderson Sloan, and Jeff Winters to win the 200 medley relay (1:31.28).
