WOMEN'S LACROSSE - SARAH MOLLISON (Jr., Attack, Melbourne, Australia)
Mollison erupted for five goals and one assist as top-seeded Maryland topped No. 8 Penn, 15-10, Saturday to advance to the NCAA semifinals for the second-straight season. The junior captain added a ground ball, a caused turnover and a draw control for the Terps, who face Syracuse Friday at Towson. The Melbourne, Australia, native is third on the squad in points and goals and is second in assists.
BASEBALL - GARY SCHNEIDER (Fr., 1B/DH, Germantown, Md.)
Schneider went 5-for-11 with a double and a triple in three games vs. Wake Forest. The freshman had a .727 slugging percentage, recorded multiple hits in two of the three games and ended the season on an 11-game hitting streak.
