MASCOT REQUESTS

ONE MONTH PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT
Rates
$150 for one hour, with a one-hour minimum.
$50 for each additional performance hour.
$20 per hour for travel time. Computed by MapQuest, (fastest route)
N/C for Charity Events, N/C for Campus Events.
Checks should be made payable to: University of Maryland and must be rendered at the time of service. All fees will be computed before the event.
Mascots must be provided with a place to change and at minimum, a supply of water. Due to the expense of the costumes upkeep, mascots may not appear at outside events in inclement weather.
University events take priority to off-campus events.
All appearances are contingent on the availability of the student mascots.Although every effort will be made to accommodate scheduled events, the University of Maryland will not be held liable for missed appearances.
Suits may not be rented or borrowed.
Approximately two weeks after your request is submitted, you will be contacted and advised of Mascot availability for your event. Please do not call the Marketing Office. You may e-mail any questions to Adrienne Burrows at adrienn@umd.edu
