First, the coaches surprised the team with brand new competition leotards. Now these were not our typical leos... These were our PRIDE leotards. I do not think I can even begin to explain how excited the team was. We probably screamed for a solid couple of minutes before the coaches were able to get our attention again. Hopefully that gives you a glimpse of our excitement.

We had a fantastic meet that weekend rocking the Maryland pride leos. There were also some new faces in the competition line up - Alex Zimmerman and Bailey Philbin. As an old senior on the team, I could not be more proud of these freshmen stepping up!

The excitement did not stop there. Not only did we have a great week of team events our basketball team also beat Duke! You did not want to be a Duke fan that night. Maryland will forever have the best fans.

After that huge win for the basketball team, the Gym Terps followed suite in our Pink Meet. Not only did we beat West Virginia and Rutgers, we also scored our first 196. The last time the team had scored a 196 was roughly nine years ago. To say the least, it was a big night. We had a great turn out that night, along with raising money for those battling breast cancer. We were so fortunate to have two survivors hand out our awards! As you can see it's a great time to be a Terp!
