Blog Header.jpg Welcome to the debut of the 19th Hole. Twice a month, the 19th Hole will tap you into the Maryland men's golf team with updates on future, current, and past Terps. As always, you can find up-to-date information on the men's golf team through umterps.com, on Facebook or on Twitter @goterpsgolf.

Former Maryland coach and player, Fred Funk, recently won on the Champions Tour at the TPC Woodlands Golf Course in Houston, Texas.  This was the site of Funk's first win on the PGA Tour over 20 years ago.  Fred has solidified his spot as one of the premier players on the Champions Tour this season.  You can follow Fred's performances on tour at pgatour.com.

Additionally, Funk will be in College Park next week. He will be attending the University of Maryland Fundraiser Monday, May 14 at the University of Maryland Golf Course.

Future Terp Tom Harris, from Isle of Man, England, recently competed in the prestigious Lytham Trophy played at Royal Lytham from May 4 - May 6.  Tom placed 30th with a 295 (72-73-71-79). Full results for the Lytham Trophy can be found at trophy.royallytham.org

Harris competes internationally on England's A Squad. Up next for Harris is an international competition, where Harris will represent his country as they compete against France at the end of the month.

The Terps' newest addition, Andrew McCain, will play the U.S. Open Qualifier in Minnesota, and follows that up by competing in the Future Collegians World Tour National Championship at the end of May.  Follow him at fcwtgolf.com.

Current Terps were in action in qualifying for the Maryland Open and Amateur, which saw Stephen Bosdosh and Mason Short qualify at Holly Hills in Frederick, Md.
