This week's edition of the 19th Hole is highlighted by rising junior Sean Bosdosh's advancement through local qualifying for this year's U.S. Open along with updates on rising junior Will Wiseman, rising sophomore Ben Warnquist and future Terp Andrew McCain.
Bosdosh successfully advanced through local qualifying for the U.S. Open after carding a 69 at his home course, The Members Club at Four Streams, in Beltsville, Md. Bosdosh placed third and advanced to sectional qualifying, which will be held at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md., on Monday, June 4. The U.S. Open is scheduled for June 14-18 at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, Calif.
Wiseman, who finished tied for fourth at the Baltimore Two-Man Team Championship last weekend at Mount Pleasant Golf Course, successfully qualified for the Maryland State Amateur and Open Championships.
This week, McCain will go for his first victory of the season at the Future Collegians World Tour National Championship, while Warnquist will be preparing for the The Kendride Amateur, a men's event in Charlottesville, Va.
