FB_Blog_Header.jpg The Terps geared up for their first full-length scrimmage of the spring with a pair of developmental practices this week.

Over the first eight practices, Maryland has a made of number of installations on both sides of the ball and will put that work to the test Saturday with the first of three scrimmages.

The Terps made some adjustments on the offensive line this week and assistant coach Tom Brattan discussed that after Tuesday's practice.

De'Onte Arnett is one of the players in the mix for a starting role. He started the final game of 2011 at left guard and has remained there this spring. He chatted about the development of the offense this spring under coordinator Mike Locksley.

The defensive line has moved from a four-man to a three-man front and assistant head coach Greg Gattuso discussed that group's maturation on Tuesday.

Joe Vellano will once again headline that position, but one of the newcomers - Quinton Jefferson - discussed his transition to Maryland.

Linebacker is an area the Terps have a number of players with experience. Keith Dudzinski offered an update on the defense and the inside linebackers after Thursday's practice which was relatively physical based on the highlights of the 3-on-3 drill.

Lee Hull also chimed in about the wide receivers, who are expected to be led by seniors Kevin Dorsey and Kerry Boykins, after Thursday's workout.

The final scrimmage of the spring - the Red-White Game - will give fans a chance to see the Terps in person. The spring game is scheduled for Saturday, April 21 at 1 p.m. in Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium. Admission is free.
