FB_Blog_Header.jpg The Terps have nearly reached the halfway point of spring practice as workout seven of 15 is set for Tuesday afternoon.

Leading into practice, head coach Randy Edsall announced position changes Tuesday morning on his YouTube video.

Redshirt freshman Nate Clarke has been moved from offensive guard to nose tackle and sophomore A.J. Hendy will go from safety to cornerback.

Junior Nick Klemm is now ahead of Ryan Doyle at left tackle. Doyle was a struggling a little bit, but Edsall said that is typical for a redshirt freshman.

Edsall wants to find the best guys to play the three interior positions on the offensive line with four guys  - Sal Conaboy, Bennett Fulper, Josh Cary and De'Onte Arnett - vying for time.

Fulper will work some at guard while Conaboy is at center.

"We want to get the best 11 on the field," Edsall said.

On the injury front, Edsall said Jeremiah Johnson should return to practice Tuesday, likely see time during individual drills, after missing Saturday's session. Alex Twine and Cole Farrand have also missed some practice time. Twine should return to individual drills this week, while Farrand remains out of action.

Maryland's first full scrimmage of the spring is scheduled for Saturday.
