Hey Terp Fans!
It's been a great week in College Park in-and-out of the gym. Everyone has been enjoying the beautiful spring weather, and looking better than ever at practice! After posting a season-high team score last weekend in New Hampshire, we got back to training hard and getting ready to take on Penn and Bridgeport this weekend.
After having one of the best practice weeks of the season, with high energy and solid routines day after day, we knew we could do some serious damage on Senior Night... and we did not disappoint! With our highest team score of the season (195.075), we were able to beat all the teams in the meet, and send our seniors off with a great memory of the night. It was great to see Kyra and Becca both hit awesome routines today, and see their families come out to support them at their last home meet. I can't believe how quickly the season has gone, and that we actually have to say goodbye soon. These two seniors have been a driving force behind the success of this team this year not only because of their gymnastics, but also their leadership. We're all going to miss them so much... but luckily we have a few more meets to spend together!
The crazy part is, although we scored our season high, we still have a lot of room for improvement. I know we're going to keep building, and that the peak hasn't come yet. So, stay tuned Terp fans! Although our season is finished at the Comcast Center, we still have a lot of damage to do in the next few weeks!
