February 2012 Archives
This week's blog focuses on three words - CRAM THE COMPLEX.

If you couldn't get AC/DC's "Back In Black" out of your head
on Friday night you're probably not alone, but we'll get to the Terps' latest
fashion statement in a bit. First up this week is a more serious topic and how
you, lacrosse fans, can help. Plus, we'll look back on the Georgetown game and
ahead to the ACC opener vs. Duke.
Hey Terp Fans!
So this week was a pretty exciting week for the Terps. We journeyed across the country all the way to San Jose, Calif. We left College Park bright and early at 5:45 a.m. Thursday. Despite a long, bumpy flight to Las Vegas and almost missing our connecting flight, the Terps remained calm and successfully arrived in San Jose! At the airport we were greeted with welcome signs by some of Ally's family, as well as the beautiful California weather!
Hey Terp Fans,
I hope this letter finds you all doing splendidly! Now, it has been a bit chilly here in College park, but I can assure you that things are heating up inside the gym. We had a solid week of practice as we prepared for our big Pink Meet. Luckily, the meet fell the same week as Valentine's Day, so we got to throw in a little bit more pink into our wardrobes, and perhaps a few chocolates.
So much to get to coming off of the Terps' 12-6 season
opening win vs. Hartford. We'll look back at the 19th straight opening day win
for Maryland, including looking at Curtis Holmes' dominance at the X and how
youth was served at close defense. All that and much, much more in this week's
edition of the Maryland Men's Lacrosse Blog.

A day late, but not a dollar short, welcome to the 2012 Preview Edition of the Maryland Men's Lacrosse Blog.
In addition to debuting the 2012 video preview, there is also a written outlook of this year's Terrapin team. We'll also give fans a sneak peek at the new uniforms, as well as a quick review of the Syracuse scrimmage and a look ahead to a tough season opener.
Hey Terp Fans!
We have been very busy! This past Friday we competed against UNC once again.
This week's blog takes a look back at one of the coldest games in Maryland women's lacrosse history and the Terrapins red hot attack.
Hey Terp Fans!
After getting home from Florida, we had a whole week to prepare for our next home meet.

There's a lot to cover in week two of the Maryland Men's
Lacrosse Blog - the first scrimmage of 2012, this year's team captains and some
history of Terp captains, congratulating a Hall of Fame Terp, the annual look
at the preseason polls and what they mean, and more - so lets not waste any
more time.
Everyone knows it's where you finish in the polls not where you begin the season that matters most. With that being said, let's just take a quick inventory of the national preseason polls.
As the Terps head down the back stretch of the season with two more dual meets remaining before the ACC Championships and the NCAA Championships, I thought it would be interesting to take a look at where the Terps' points have come from in their 14 duals.
