Terrell Stoglin's ability to score points in bunches has been well documented.
The sophomore is averaging 21.2 points per game, a mark that leads the ACC and ranks sixth nationally. If he continues on this pace, he'll become just the third Terrapin to average more than 20 ppg in a season in the last 20 years. The other two are Juan Dixon, who averaged 20.4 in Maryland's National Championship season, and Joe Smith, who averaged 20.4 in 1994-95.
With that being said, Stoglin's 27-point effort at Florida State on Tuesday got us thinking. Stoglin reached double figures in each half, tallying 13 in the first stanza and 14 in the second. After a further look, we found that was the eighth time in his career Stoglin has scored in double figures in both halves of a game, including six this season.
