This past Friday we had out Red and Black Intrasqaud.  We had such a huge crowd that came out to support, it was the biggest crowd yet for an intrasquad! So thank you all who came out and supported!  We had other student-athletes who were our judges who did a great job! We also had celebrity coaches for each team. For the Red Team was women's soccer head coach Brian Pensky and Black's celebrity coach was water polo's head coach Carl Salyer. It was an honor to have them come be a part of our intrasquad and the girls had an awesome time with both of them! The team had a great week at practice leading up to the intrasquad where it definitely showed as the girl's walked out on to the floor Friday ready to go! We had the two teams split up equally in the amount of routines on each event! Both teams started on Vault where we made every vault we put up and showed off some "BIG VAULTS." On bars and beam where the teams split up for each event, they showed their determination and fought for everything they did! The Red Team hit six-for-six beam routines which was awesome! For the last event both teams came together for floor. The girl's showed off there amazing floor routines with great landings! Overall, it was a great intrasquad, the Red team came out with the win! By the time the first meet rolls around we'll be ready to go. The Team came out and fought and was very aggressive.

Now, that the intrasquad is over, the girls have school to focus on with exams starting this week! After exams the team will get to go home for break to spend time with their families and have some nice relaxing time off.  Once break is over it's "GO TIME!!! Season will FINALLY be here!
