Hey Terp Fans!
Well, it is that time of year again, bootcamp is over and phase two of our training has begun! This week in the gym the coaches challenged us with some pretty tough assignments, but of course being Terps we responded with some really great practices.
This week on bars there were lots full bar routines being hit. There is a chart in the gym for if you make your very first full bar routine attempt each day, you get a tally mark next to your name. Needless to say there are lots of names and marks on that chart just from the first week of routines!
Wednesday was a very enjoyable light day of practice for the Terps. I think everyone (minus a few of the freshman) was excited that we did not have our usual bootcamp pool workout. We also were excited that we nailed are full turn challenge on beam the first try hitting 21 full turns in a row!
At the end of the week, Russell was back in the gym fine-tuning all of the floor routines he had choreographed last week. All of the floor routines look great! Big thanks to Russell for all of his help!
We finished off the week with a nice Sunday lift to get us ready for the great week of training ahead! The Terps are working hard and I am very excited to see what this year has in store for us!
