With a short week of classes, we left Thursday morning and arrived in Georgia Thursday night, where we were surprised at dinner with a guest appearance from our own choreographer Russel!

Friday morning we got to spend some free time walking around downtown Athens shopping and enjoying each others' company.  Once we finished our shopping, we ate lunch at Panera and got ready for a short practice at the arena.  Being in the arena got us pumped up and excited to compete! After practice we enjoyed a nice dinner and went back to the hotel to get rested up for the big day!

Saturday morning we woke up ready to dominate!  We had a blast at the meet, and I'd like to give a shout out to each of our seniors: Abigail Adams, Jenn Iovino, Kelsey McDermid and Kaitlin Joseph. Each one of them had a great performance and ended their gymnastics careers on such a strong note, and we are SO very proud of them and all they have accomplished here!  We wish them all the best of luck in whatever the future brings them :) LOVE YOU GIRLS!

After the meet we got to spend one last night in the hotel together before we took off back to College Park on Sunday!  This trip was the perfect way to end our season and I know we are all looking forward to relaxing on our week off!
