This week's blog delves into Maryland's success at home and explores the Terrapins statistics on a national level.
HOME SWEET HOME
After spending the majority of spring break on the East Coast, the Terps head back to its lair of dominance Saturday, welcoming No. 10 James Madison for a noon tilt.
Head coach Cathy Reese has been spectacular in College Park during her five-year tenure, racking up a 44-1 record on the Terps' home turf. During its run to the 2010 crown, Maryland outscored opponents 211-93 at home. This season, the Terps have tallied 39 more goals than their opposition at the FH & Lax Complex.
Maryland is 184-15 in College Park dating back to 1990 with 12 perfect seasons in that span.
NCAA STAT MASTERS
Both as a team and individually, Maryland can be found scattered all over the category leader lists in women's lacrosse this season.
The Terps, who are one of seven undefeated teams remaining in NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse this season, are tops in scoring margin (10.25), third in points (199) and fourth in both scoring offense (16.5) and scoring defense (6.25).

LOOKING AHEAD
No. 1 Maryland is really getting into the nitty gritty of its 2011 slate, beginning with another top-ten match with James Madison Saturday. Prior to the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship, which kicks off April 21 in Cary, N.C., the Terps play host to No. 4 Penn, No. 5 North Carolina, and No. 12 Princeton. Maryland also treks to Towson and Virginia Tech prior to conference tournament time.
