It has been another exciting week for the Terps gymnastics team... and
I think that is an understatement!
It has been another exciting week for the Terps gymnastics team... and

We started the weekend off at George Washington, where we hit many of
our best routines of the season. We were able to fend off yet another
conference opponent, and achieve our highest team score of the season
so far... a huge 195.75!
Next, we were home on the Comcast main floor against three teams,
Kentucky, George Washington, and UNC. As our last home meet of the
season, it was Senior Night, and we were able to celebrate with Kelsey
McDermid, Kaitlyn Joseph, Jenn Iovino, and Abbey Adams. We fought
through adversity throughout the meet, and after some passionate
performances, ended up with three wins.
It is crazy to see this season coming to an end, and even crazier to
imagine this team without these four seniors. They are all tremendous
leaders, and have definitely played a huge role in the success of this
team, both gymnastically and emotionally.
All in all, with four more wins this weekend, this team is going into
the EAGL Championship as the only undefeated team in the conference.
Not only that, it is the first time this has happened in school
history. Although this is a huge accomplishment, we know it is no time
to relax. We head back into the gym tomorrow to prepare for the
post-season. It may be the end of the regular season, but we still
have a whole lot more to achieve!
