Week two is underway and with it comes a new wrinkle for the Maryland men's lacrosse team - classes.
Last week the Terps had mostly finished winter term and needed to only concentrate on practice, lifting, film and getting rest in order to do it all again the next day. Classes began on Monday, so this week the Terps are getting their syllabi and getting back into the groove of being a student-athlete.
This week we competed in our third meet of the
year, and it finally feels like competition season is in full swing! We
had strong practices this week leading up to our home meet against
Towson and Ball State.
With the unofficial season opener against the U.S. National Team in sunny Orlando only 11 days away, it's a great time to catch up with the 2011 version of Maryland women's lacrosse.
The 2011 season is here! The first practice is in the books and the journey to M&T Bank Stadium has begun.
So what did we learn from the first practice? Honestly, nothing that we really didn't know prior to Monday's practice. But you can check out the highlights for yourself:

It has been an exciting week for the Terps gymnastics team! We had our home opener this past weekend against Air Force and one of our conference rivals, University of New Hampshire.
