Hey Everyone!
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving break and are staying warm
with this wintery weather in College Park! The gymnastics team has
been working hard this past week in and out of the gym.
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving break and are staying warm
with this wintery weather in College Park! The gymnastics team has
been working hard this past week in and out of the gym.
After having some relaxing days off with our families and friends at home for the
holiday, we came back to school ready to work hard. As the semester is
coming to a close, and our Red vs. Black Intrasquad is rapidly
approaching, we have really been buckling down! In addition to some
difficult lifts throughout the week, we ramped up our endurance
workouts so we have the energy to really perform on floor next
Friday-- from the beginning to the very end. In the classroom, we are
all busy studying for final exams, writing papers, and finishing up
projects.
But, aside from the hard work, we still have time to have fun! This
past week we each chose names for Secret Santa, and we'll surprise a
teammate, coach, or trainer with a little gift each day. But, we're
going to have to be clever so it stays a secret! Then, at the end,
we'll give final gifts at our annual holiday party. I love this time
of year!
So, I hope to see you all on Friday, December 10th for our first
open-door intrasquad! It is definitely going to be an exciting meet to
watch, especially because the Terps look so great heading into the
season!
Thanks for reading and happy holidays!
