Howdy Terp Fans!
This time of year is so great for our team. Last week was finals week, and the
girls worked hard by committing to studying and succeeding academically. Each
of us had between three and five finals crammed into the week, so each of us
spent hours studying in preparation for the academically trying week. We came
in the gym for study breaks and during days when we didn't have finals just to
get some extra work in before season starts in January.

After we finish our last final of the week, each girl eagerly awaits their flight's
landing or car's arrival in their hometowns. We get around a week and a half to
spend with our families for the holidays, and I know we are all treasuring that
special time! Although I know all of the girls are having a blast at home, I miss
them so much! Can't wait to see you guys soon ☺.
I am spending Christmas with my family in my hometown of Spring, Texas.
While I am home, I'm going to be spending a lot of time with my extended
family. This Christmas, I am staying with my AWESOME Aunt Nannette at her
house with my cousins, Saidee and Kaden. I am so blessed to be able to play Star
Wars (with light sabers), Wii, and MadGab Bible with them! Moving to college has
seriously enabled me to appreciate the time that I get to spend with my family,
and I am so grateful that most of them live within a few miles of each other.
Also, this Christmas is extra special because my big sister, Lea, had her second
baby girl on December 15. My new niece, Harper Reese Hedrick, only weighed 5
pounds 5 ounces, but she's the mightiest little girl in town. Congratulations to
my Hadley, my niece, for being a big sister, and to Lea and Chad for having their
second beautiful little girl! I love being an aunt!
Well, I hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season. As much fun as I'm having
at home, I can't wait to get back to Maryland for competition season. Plus, I
REALLY miss my teammates! Thanks for reading Terp fans. We are looking
forward to seeing y'all soon!
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and GO TERPS!
