FB_Blog_Header.jpgThe Maryland football team is returning to the practice field Wednesday afternoon following a 10-day break. Final exams ended Saturday and the players were given a few days to spend with family and friends.

The Terps will work out for about an hour Wednesday at the on-campus practice facility before traveling to the team hotel where the Military Bowl will hold a Welcome Reception.

The team will also practice Thursday and Friday, take Christmas Day off, and then get back on the field Sunday.

There are a number of activities for the players surrounding the Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman.

Members of the team will attend the Washington Wizards-Chicago Bulls game Wednesday evening. There is also a White House tour in store Thursday.

Those players who do not attend the Wizards game will head to the Washington Capitals-Pittsburgh Penguins game Thursday night (click here to view a photo gallery).

In addition, there will be dinner with the travel party at Tony and Joe's Seafood Place on Friday and one at Fogo-De-Chao on Saturday.

There also a tour of the Capitol planned on Monday and a Military Bowl Luncheon set for Tuesday, the final event before the game which is set for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29 at RFK Stadium.
