Fans can get ready for the Maryland-Miami game by tuning into the Ralph Friedgen Television Show.The Friedgen TV Show is set to air at 11:30 a.m. Saturday on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic. The Terps-Hurricanes football game gets underway at noon on ESPNU and the Terrapin Sports Radio Network.
The television show, which is produced by Jess Atkinson, will chronicle the Terps' win over Wake Forest which made the team bowl eligible for the seventh time in the last 10 years.
The Terps donned pink wrist bands last weekend to bring awareness to breast cancer which has special meaning for A.J. Francis, who had one of his best games as a Terp.
There were also a number of players who shined against the Demon Deacons, including Quintin McCree, Haroon Brown and Mike Salvatico. McCree and Brown each hit the endzone for the first time, and Salvatico, a former defensive back, saw significant time at running back.
