Hey Terps Fans!
This past week in the gym was an amazing lead up to the closed-door Intrasquad that we had on Friday. We ended the week with two team days and a day of visualization. The team looked more than ready for the challenge of facing those judges for the first time this year. The entire team and coaching staff was extremely confident in everything that we have been doing leading up to this first Intrasquad. This was going to be the first test for the team.
With the Atlantic Division title on the line for NC State, the Terps hold a 17-14 halftime lead over the Wolfpack.
The Terps and Wolfpack are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. from Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.
The Terps (7-4, 4-3) face NC State (8-3, 5-2) at 3:30 p.m. in Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium. A win sends the Wolfpack to the ACC title game, but the Terps also have plenty to play for on Senior Day.
The Terps held their final practice before facing NC State Saturday at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium (3:30 p.m. kickoff).The team hit the field at the on-campus facility Thursday morning for about 90 minutes.
Ralph Friedgen and the rest of the ACC coaches visit with the media each Wednesday on a conference call. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the call occurred on Tuesday.

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced early Sunday morning that the Maryland-NC State game on Saturday will kick off at 3:30 p.m. EST from Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.The game will be telecast nationally on ESPN2.
Maryland and Florida State are tied at 13-all at the end of the first half. Travis Baltz kicked two field goals and Will Yeatman scored his first touchdown as a Terp.
Terps Support Wounded Warrior Project: The Terps are wearing specially designed head-to-toe uniforms tonight as part of their continued partnership with the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), a not-for-profit organization that provides programs and services for injured service members and their families.
Three individuals have been selected as honorary captains as part of the Wounded Warrior Project initiative at today's Maryland-Florida State game.
The University of Maryland football team made final preparations on Thursday for its matchup with Florida State which is scheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday in Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.
The Terps (7-3, 4-2 ACC) hope to take another step toward their first Atlantic Division title by knocking off the Seminoles (7-3, 5-2 ACC), who hold a half-game lead over Maryland and NC State in the division standings.
For his performance at the Brockport/Oklahoma Gold Classic on Nov. 13, sophomore Josh Asper has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week and TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week.
The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Monday the times and networks for the football games of Nov. 27. ESPN/ABC has invoked its final six-day option of the year, holding six ACC-controlled games, including the Maryland-NC State matchup. Those game times and networks will be announced no later than noon on Sunday.
The Terps game will begin at either noon, 3:30 p.m. or 7 p.m.
Maryland has a slight edge over Virginia, 21-20, at halftime. It's the second straight close game for the Terrapins heading into the break - they took a 17-15 lead into the locker room at Miami last week. All three of Maryland's touchdowns have come on the ground, and all three from freshmen. Quarterback Danny O'Brien has one and running back D.J. Adams has two.
Chris Hinkebein booted a 52-yard field goal for the Cavaliers as time expired in the second quarter to bring Virginia within a single point.

The Terps look to rebound from last week's heart-breaking 26-20 loss at Miami as the Hurricanes scored the game-winning TD with under a minute to go. Despite the loss to Miami, the Terrapins (6-3, 3-2) continue to control their destiny in the ACC Atlantic Division race. Maryland is tied for second with NC State, while Florida State (4-2) leads both by a half game.

Wow has it been an exciting couple of weeks! We have been looking amazing in the gym with more depth than ever before.
The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Monday that the Maryland-Florida State game on Saturday, Nov. 20 will kick off at 8 p.m. EST from Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.The game will be broadcast on ABC.
Maryland leads Miami, 17-15, at the half and is 5-0 this season when leading after two quarters.
Danny O'Brien hit Kevin Dorsey on a 42-yard touchdown pass, Alex Wujciak returned an interception 60 yards for a touchdown and Travis Baltz booted a 27-yard field goal to give the Terps the slight edge.
Fans can get ready for the Maryland-Miami game by tuning into the Ralph Friedgen Television Show.The Friedgen TV Show is set to air at 11:30 a.m. Saturday on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic. The Terps-Hurricanes football game gets underway at noon on ESPNU and the Terrapin Sports Radio Network.
Steady rain in the Washington, D.C., region Thursday didn't stop the Maryland football team from completing its final practice session before facing the Miami Hurricanes.
The Terrapins (6-2, 3-1 ACC) hit the on-campus practice field for roughly 60 minutes where the offense, defense and special teams made their final adjustments in the game plan.

It's been another busy week in the gym for the Terps, but we had a lot of fun activities going on this week for Halloween. Each day practice just gets better and better with all the great routines the team has been working on. We just started doing floor routines and we are looking great already!
