Danny O'Brien tossed three touchdown passes and the Davin Meggett-Da'Rel Scott duo has combined to rush for 107 yards on 20 carries.

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Monday that ESPN/ABC has declared a six-day option for four games on Saturday, Nov. 6, including Maryland's contest at Miami. Kickoff time will be announced Sunday. However, the game will start at either noon or 3:30 p.m. EDT and be shown on ABC, the ACC Network or ESPNU. Maryland took a 21-7 lead into the half over Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
Danny O'Brien went 14 of 23 and threw three touchdown passes, while Maryland's defense forced three turnovers.

Maryland's Pete DeSouza was injured in a traffic accident Thursday evening on campus.

A member of the Terrapin Club, who is traveling with the team this weekend, is hitting a milestone Saturday.The Maryland-BC contest will be the 400th-consecutive Terps football game attended by Bob Baker. He began the string in 1976. Maryland's Pete DeSouza was injured in an accident Thursday evening on campus.

Bye week generally means healing and fine-tuning, and that's exactly what the Terps are doing this week. Head coach Ralph Friedgen has reduced the practice schedule, though the team hit the field Wednesday and will do so again Thursday afternoon. After that, the team will be off until Monday's practice.
