The Terrapins held their weekly news conference Tuesday afternoon in Young Dining Hall at the Gossett Team House. Head coach Ralph Friedgen addressed the media, followed by Maryland players Torrey Smith, Da'Rel Scott, Adrian Cannon, A.J. Francis and Alex Wujciak.

- Left tackle Justin Gilbert, who injured his left knee against West Virginia, is out for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. R.J. Dill will move to left tackle and Pete DeSouza will assume the No. 1 right tackle spot. Max Garcia will move back to left tackle from left guard and serve as Dill's backup. Nick Klemm will be the No. 2 right tackle.
- Quarterbacks Jamarr Robinson and Danny O'Brien are both expected to play Saturday against FIU (noon kickoff at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium).
- TE Devonte Campbell (knee) is expected to return to the lineup. He has not played this season after being injured in camp.
