The Maryland Terrapins practiced on Saturday afternoon, their final workout prior to Monday's Navy game (4 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium).The team worked out for about an hour at the on-campus practice facility, fine-tuning the offensive and defensive game plans.
Following practice, head coach Ralph Friedgen announced that three seniors will serve as game captains against Navy.
Punter Travis Baltz will be the special-teams captain, while Adrian Moten will represent the defense and Adrian Cannon the offense.
Friedgen also named three offensive scout team players of the week for their work in mimicking the high-powered Navy attack. DB Anthony Green, RB Paul Lariviere and C Chris Rhodes were honored.
LB Nick Peterson, a transfer from the U.S. Naval Academy, was named the defensive scout team player of the week.
All four will be part of the travel party.
WR LaQuan Williams, a native of Baltimore, will carry the Maryland state flag onto the field before kickoff and LB Demetrius Hartsfield will bring the American flag.
The Terps will hold a short walk-through in College Park Sunday afternoon before traveling to Baltimore in the evening.
