COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 8 Maryland women’s basketball team will host Drexel Monday at 7 p.m. at Comcast Center and will host a pregame food drive. All fans are asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate.

Preseason All-American Alyssa Thomas had 15 points and 12 rebounds, and Maryland (4-1) used a late run in the first half to pull away for a 90-53 victory at Towson Saturday night.
Laurin Mincy and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough added 14 points each for Maryland, which has won two straight. Brene Moseley added 11 points and Brionna Jones notched 10 for the Terps. Thomas had her fourth straight double-double in the first half with 15 points,10 rebounds in the first period alone.
The Terrapins are 2-0 all-time vs. the Dragons. They won the last meeting, 82-65, on Nov. 23, 2009 in College Park.
After Monday’s matchup, the Maryland will head to Puerto Rico for the San Juan Shootout over the weekend. The Terps will take on Texas Southern Friday at 4:30 p.m. and Ohio University Saturday at 2 p.m. Both games can be heard on umterps.com and live updates will be available at the team’s twitter account.
