Final Stats

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Michael Snaer made a 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds left to lift Florida State to a 73-71 win over Maryland on Wednesday.

Dez Wells scored 13 of his 19 points in the second half, but the Terrapins fell short as Alex Len, who averages 13.3 points per game, scored a season-low four points.

It was the second last-gasp 3-pointer in seven days for Snaer, who also lifted the Seminoles to a 60-57 win when he banked in a 25-footer at the buzzer to beat Clemson. Snaer also had two buzzer-beating 3-pointers last season to give Florida State wins over Duke and Virginia Tech.

Snaer had 19 points and Okaro White added 14 points for Florida State (12-8, 4-3 Atlantic Coast Conference).

Logan Aronhalt scored 11 for Maryland, which fell to 15-6 and 3-5 in the ACC. Charles Mitchell had 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting.

The Terps led 62-54 after a dunk by Len - his first points of the game - with 6:56 left. But Florida State went on a 6-0 run and Ian Miller tied it at 66 on a jumper with 2:32 left.

Wells scored Maryland's final five points, knocking down a 3-pointer and then a long two to give Maryland a 71-68 lead with 1:30 left. But after a Wells steal, Nick Faust missed the front end of a one-and-one, and Len failed to convert an alley-oop from Faust with 13 seconds left.

Snaer then knocked down the game-winning shot from the corner with 1.1 seconds left, and Wells' desperation 25-footer just before the buzzer missed.

Maryland outrebounded Florida State 36-20.
