COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The Maryland men's basketball program held its annual alumni reunion event prior to Maryland's game against Northwestern on Saturday.

Nearly 40 former players and coaches gathered in College Park to celebrate the history of Maryland basketball. The group began the day with a breakfast and was later recognized during the game.

The group included Hall of Fame head coach Gary Williams, College Hall of Fame member Tom McMillen, and 2001 Final Four participants Terence Morris and Mike Mardesich.

Recent alums Logan Aronhalt, Damonte Dodd and John Graham also returned to College Park.

"It was great to see everbody today," Dodd said. "I hadn't been back in College Park since October, and it's always fun to be around good people.

Former Maryland basketball star Walt Williams shared how special it is to be a part of the Maryland basketball family.

"This is always a fun day for all of us," Williams said. "It's a special group and one that I'm proud to be associated with."

The current Maryland basketball team did its part to cap off the weekend, earning a 73-57 win over Northwestern.
