Vernon Davis, who started for Washington at tight end over the injured Jordan Reed, had a big week as he helped the Redskins upset the Seahawks in Seattle. Davis had six catches for 72 yards and led the team with a whopping nine targets.
Davis received high praise in a tweet from Redskins legend Joe Theismann.

The Jaguars third round pick Yannick Ngakoue has continued to provide reasons that he was a steal in the draft. The defensive linemen impressed again on Sunday with two tackles and one being a big hit for a loss.
The Jags D has been quite impressive this year and defensive coordinator Tom Walsh recently praised Ngakoue’s work ethic and development.
"With [Ngakoue], I think he's been a pro almost since the day he walked in here," Wash said. "He understands how to study his offensive linemen. His work ethic - he comes to practice every day and busts his hump - so we know he is going to continue to get better. We're continuing to push him because I think the sky is the limit for him and hopefully he can continue to play like he is.”
A special congratulations goes out to Quinton Jefferson, who recorded his first career sack in the Seahawks’ loss to the Redskins.
Torrey Smith had one catch for 11 yards as the Philadelphia Eagles continue to have the best record in the NFL with a victory over the Broncos. Dexter McDougle also contributed a tackle in the victory.
Stefon Diggs continued to be the man in Minnesota as he spent the bye week answering questions for Sports Illustrated. When asked if Aaron Rodgers’ injury opened the door for the Vikings to win the division, Diggs replied that the Vikings believe it is realistic every year to win the division regardless of injury.
The Steelers' Sean Davis and Chargers' Nick Novak also enjoyed the bye week.
