Spring 2015: Competed in all six events...shot a 217 (71-76-70), which was +7 on the weekend, in the Palmetto Intercollegiate...shot a 222 (70-75-77), which was +12 in the Middleburg Bank Invitational...led Maryland and finished tied for seventh in the Robert Kepler Invitational with a 214 (74-68-72), which was one-over par on the weekend...finished tied for 11th with a 142 (70-72), which was even in the Wolfpack Intercollegiate...finished tied for 13th in the Big Ten Championships with a 294 (70-74-74-76), which was +6 overall.
Fall 2014: Competed in all four tournaments...tied for third in the VCU Shootout with a one-under score of 215 (74-72-69)...tied for seventh when he went three-over in the Maryland Terrapin Invitatonal with a score of 219 (69-77-73)...tied for 22nd in the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate with a six-over score of 219 (73-71-75).
Spring 2014: Competed in all five tournaments...finished tied for 17th in the River Landing Intercollegiate with a score of 220 (73-76-71), which was four-over...tied for 11th to lead the team in the Rutherford Intercollegiate with his score of 218 (70-72-76), which was five-over...finished second on the team with his score of 222 (77-71-74), which was six-over, in the ACC Championship.
Fall 2013: Competed in four tournaments… fired a 14-over 230 (80-77-73) at the Tar Heel Challenge… shot a 22-over 238 (85-78-75) at the Golf Galaxy VCU Shootout...shot career-best three-round total of 216 (73-70-73) to go +3 and to finish tied for 23rd in the ODU/OBX Collegiate.
Before Maryland: Played freshman and sophomore seasons at Xavier...participated in five events for the Musketeers in his rookie season (2011) ...at the Cobra Puma Invitational, he fired rounds of 76-70-76---222 (+6)... opened up the spring season at the Bash at the Beach where he was the second finisher for Xavier with a 4-over-par 220 (74-72-74) ...was named A-10 Rookie of the Week after his performance at the Bash at the Beach...in high school, he captured the 2010 Maryland State Public School Championship after firing a 1-under-par 144 ...named to the Montgomery County Gazette's All-Gazette Team as well as the Gazette Player of the Year following his senior campaign ...earned third place at the Montgomery County Districts with a 3-over-par 75 ...recorded the county's low-average three times ... recorded three top-15 finishes during the summer of 2010 on the AJGA circuit including finishing in a tie for seventh at the Junior at River Creek...in summer 2012, first alternate at the U.S. Amateur Qualifier after shooting a 140 (66-74) ... made the round of eight at the District Amateur Championship.
Personal: Connor Tendall...parents are Skip and Sue Tendall...has three siblings - Kirsten, Whitney and Ryan...brother, Ryan, played college golf at University of Illinois and dad, Skip, played golf at Arizona State...came to Maryland for the coaches and the great environment...also considered Illinois and Michigan State...agriculture and resource economics major.
