RALEIGH, N.C. - The Maryland men's golf team finished 11th out of 17 teams in the Wolfpack Intercollegiate Tuesday at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, N.C.
Senior Sean Bosdosh shot two-under par in Tuesday's final round to wind up three-over with his score of 219 (74-75-70) on the tournament. He finished tied for 23rd on the leaderboards.
After a strong start in Monday's opening rounds, sophomore Tom Harris and freshman Victor Fox struggled Tuesday, Harris shot a 224 (73-72-79) total and Fox finished with a combined score of 225 (72-73-80).
Juniors Connor Tendall and Ben Warnquist each wound up with a total score of 226.
"Overall, this was a disappointing performance because I thought this was going to be the week we were going to get over the hump," head coach Jason Rodenhaver said. "We haven't been our best around the greens when we have opportunities to make birdies. We've certainly had good rounds with four of our five starters breaking par, but we need that more consistently. Hopefully, we can end the fall on a high note and get things turned around for the start of our traditional spring season."
