International Experience: Captain of the 2000 U-18 Australian touring field hockey team that went undefeated, winning the Pierre de Coubertin Award from the Australian Olympic Committee.

As sophomore in 2004: A solid defender who started every game, helping the Terrapin backfield post nine shutouts, which ranked second in the ACC ... the Terp defense also limited opponents to just 1.36 goals per game, which tied for 15th in the nation ... three Terrapin opponents were held to no shots and three had no penalty corners ... named to National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Squad.

Before Maryland: Participated in field hockey, swimming and cross country from 1996-2001 at St. Joseph's High ... member of New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges team at International Hockey Tournament in 2000 ... represented Newcastle Hockey Association on U-18 and Open teams at N.S.W. Hockey Championships that same year... in 2001, played on the Newcastle State League team and was vice-captain of the Newcastle U-18 squad ... team placed fourth at Australian U-18 Hockey Championships in 2001 ... a record holder and two-time champion of the Muswellbrook Amateur Swimming Club.
