On Palmer: An English National squad and Under-21 team member that competed in the U-21 World Cup along with former Terps Dina Rizzo and Autumn Welsh and current senior Carissa Messimer ... now the sixth defender on the English national team who brings experience and maturity to the backfield for one season … will be pursuing a second degree in economics at Maryland ... projected to play in the 2004 Olympics in Greece with Great Britain.

International Experience: Member of the English National squad and participated on the English Under-21, Under-18 and Under-16 squads … captured silver (senior, 1998) and bronze (junior, 1997 and 1999) medals in European Indoor championship tournaments … competed in the 1997 and 2001 Junior World Cups with the British team.

Before Maryland: Competed for the University of the West of England in Bristol, England, while pursuing a degree in economics … attended Chase High School in Malvern, Worcestershire, England prior to that.

Personal: Born May 18, 1980 … Isabel is the daughter of Elizabeth and Roy Palmer … has two sisters, Eleanor (25) and Julie, and one brother, Edmund (19) … an economics major.
