As a redshirt senior (2015): Team co-captain...started in every game...added an assist in Terps' 6-2 win at Miami (Ohio) (Oct. 4)...made two defensive saves to help Terps to 1-0 win at Penn State (Oct. 23)...part of team that swept Big Ten regular season and tournament titles...named to the All-Big Ten Academic Team. 

As a redshirt junior (2014): Started in all 23 games...picked up a key defensive save at #18 Michigan State (Sept. 28)…part of team that won first Big Ten championship in school history.

As a redshirt sophomore (2013): Saw action in 23 games and started in 16...made first career start vs. #20 New Hampshire (Aug. 31)...defense held #8 Old Dominion scoreless (Sept. 8)...part of shut-out defense vs. Miami (Ohio) (Sept. 15)...defense held Michigan scoreless (Sept. 22)...helped lead defense in 2-0 shutout win over #3 North Carolina in ACC Championship game (Nov. 10)...member of 2013 ACC Championship team...received the Dina Rizzo Award, along with Cabrera at the team's annual banquet, an honor that is not given every year, but only when athletes deserve it, for those that lead by example with passion and commitment to winning...named to ACC Honor Roll.

As a redshirt freshman (2012): Saw action in eight games on the year, including the Terps' NCAA Firsr Round matchup vs. Lafayette (Nov. 10)...named to ACC Honor Roll.

Before Maryland: Played all four years at Pocomoke...MVP and captain...Heisman Award finalist...2010 Offensive Player of the Year and Fall Athlete of the Year...named First Team All-State in 2010 and First Team All-Bayside in 2008, 2009, won state championship in 2007, 2008, 2009...2007 Rookie of the Year...also played basketball and team won states in 2008, while softball won in 2009...played for Shorefield Hockey since won its pool in 2010 National Festival in Arizona.

Personal: Parents are Debbie Dennis and Jay Tapman...has one older sister, Brooke, who goes to Frostburg, and a younger brother, Logan...lists her biggest athletic thrill as when her high school team won states in her senior year...chose Maryland because it was so different than what she was used to, the field hockey program and the coaches...kinesiology major...wants to be an athletic trainer.
