In addition, all student-athletes are invited to shave their heads in support of the cause following the conclusion of the game.

Last year, Maryland raised close to $10,000 for the foundation and has set a goal of $20,000 for the 2014 campaign. Bobby Ruse, Brandon Casas, Kyle Convissar, Kevin Mooney and Jared Price were Maryland’s top-five fundraisers from a year ago.

The Vs. Cancer Foundation is dedicated to saving kids’ lives by empowering athletes and communities to fund lifesaving childhood cancer efforts.
