COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Senior Spencer Myers scored a first period fall over freshman Sean Twigg to give the Red team a 22-16 victory over the Black team in the Red & Black Wrestle-Offs at Comcast Pavilion Sunday afternoon. The event served at the kickoff to the 2013-14 wrestling season and the results will help determine the Terps lineup for next week's Terrapin duals.
Sophomore Paul O’Neill put the Red team in front with a 5-2 decision over sophomore Billy Rappo at 125 pounds. Junior Geoffrey Alexander and sophomore Shyheim Brown extended the Red team’s lead with decision wins.
