June 1, 2005

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland women's lacrosse coach Cindy Timchal has announced the signing of Sarah Mollison for the 2005-06 academic year. Mollison, a native of Melbourne, Australia, is a member of the Australian World Cup team that will compete in Annapolis later this month.

Mollison joins ten others that have already signed with the Terrapins.

"To add a player of Sarah's caliber is tremendous for our program," head coach Cindy Timchal said. "She is an excellent attacking player who also makes plays all over the field. Her international experience makes her a seasoned player who should not have much trouble transitioning into the college game."
