  • 2005 Camp Brochure

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Join Cindy Timchal and the staff at All American Lacrosse Camps and experience the ricn tradition of Maryland lacrosse while you refine and enhance your skills for the game at this year's camps.

All American Camps offer a complete training program for both the intermediate and advanced player. The camps innovate techniques and teach both stick enhancement skills and theories of team play. As in all of the camps, goal keeping camps are offered as well.

The morning sessions focus on individual skill development, including advanced stick skills, dodging, scoring, feeding, cutting and defensive skills. The afternoon sessions focus on game strategies, organized offenses, transition, defensive communication and specialty situations.

The evening sessions focus on teamwork, game theories, full-field games and include special programs on nutrition and conditioning. Overnight campers stay in the school's dorms and eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining halls. Commuters join the group for all sessions as well as lunch and dinner.

All American Goalie Schools provide individualized training for goalies of all levels. This camp is run in conjunction with all of the camps. The concepts covered include basic goalkeeping techniques, angles, clearing, crease defense, 8-meter situations, coming out of the crease, stick work and footwork, and covering the importance of quality equipment. Goalies are also integrated in the team theories and scrimmages with the field campers.
