COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's lacrosse team is gearing up for the start of its 2010 fall season. Coming off of a stellar spring season, the national champions are more than eager to begin.
The women's lacrosse team open its fall slate by traveling down to Charlottesville, Va. with a game against Virginia on Sunday, September 26 at 1 p.m.
Maryland will then play host in a four-game series beginning with Loyola College on Sunday, October 3 at 10 a.m. Immediately following at noon, the Terps will play Ohio State, Vanderbilt and Yale.
On Friday, October 15, Delaware and Georgetown come to play the Terrapins, with games at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The following weekend, on Saturday, October 23, the Lady Terps make the trip to Philadelphia to face off Notre Dame, Penn, and Stanford. These games are slated for 11 a.m., 1 p.m.., and 3 p.m., respectively.
Finishing up their fall season, the national champions travel just down the road to Georgetown to play Florida, Duke, and James Madison, with games at 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
