LaxPower Names Three Terps To All-American Team

University of Maryland women's lacrosse players Jen Adams, Quinn Carney and Allison Comito were named to the LaxPower's preseason All-American team. All three seniors were first team selections and all three were first team All-Americans a year ago.

Adams is was the sport's player of the year in 1999 and 2000 and is shooting to become Maryland and the NCAA's all-time leading scorer. Carney is one of the top all-around players in the country and takes a 50-game scoring streak into the 2001 season. Comito is a scorer with one of the best shots in collegiate lacrosse who is coming off of a 65-goal season.
